It was a little rainy on the farm today, but that made for some good puddles to jump in. We harvested zucchini, tomato and green pepper from the East Garden. We read a story and then made some spiders on a web. We ended our time together on a color walk. A fun morning!
How can it be the last day of the 2017 season of Nature Rangers? The summer just flew by. We had fun at the Knoch Knolls park today. Then we came back to the East Garden and made some great slime. We also enjoyed some fresh salsa using veggies grown on the farm. Have a great school year everyone! Thanks for coming to Green Earth Institute this summer and we hope to see you all next year.
Nature Rangers and Nature Buddies spent time together again. We watered in the West garden. The children are using mud to make sculptures and they are turning out great. We read a diary of a worm and made a worm craft. Then we all went on a scavenger hunt.
The sky was beautiful today. We spent some time at the park. We also made some long snakes using some bright colored paper. Hole digging also continues!!
Explored at the wetlands today. The hole in the East Garden is getting so big it can hold almost all this weeks campers :0
Great Monday on the farm. We enjoyed some crafts. We also collected insects to observe and dug in the mud. The hole is getting bigger and bigger!!
Campers from Marion Park Day Camp visited the farm today. We had a great time on our tour, and we finished our visit with some tasty veggie snacks. Thanks for visiting the Green Earth Institute!!
