Week 2 had some rain and some sun, but a whole lot of fun!

We had a pretty muddy week on the farm.  However, that didn’t stop us from having a good time!  We were still able to enjoy the great outdoors.  We planted carrot seeds, learned about biodiversity, and started a three sisters garden.  We also learned about different types of flowering plants, and made our own self-watering planter.  Oh, and we found A LOT of toads.

On Thursday, we even enjoyed a very special treat: rhubarb crisp!  There were several kids that came back for seconds.  If you are interested in trying some yourself, I found the recipe online here : http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/rhubarb-crisp.  It didn’t take very long, and it was delicious!

Hope you enjoy these photos from week two.
