Well, spring is officially here! After a long and dreary winter buds are now sprouting, sap is flowing, and the fields are being readied for plants. Preparations for summer start really early on the farm, with onion seeds being planted in February, and tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants planted in March. Check out these baby onions and peppers!
The children’s garden will have some plants this year that we haven’t tried before, including tomatillos, new species of tomatoes, and new types of squash. Here is a sneak peak at some of the new seeds that were purchased for this year.
Will you be joining us again this year for summer camp? Have you bought your CSA share? We hope you’re just as excited for summer to come as we are!
